VITAL FUNDING FOR REGIONAL AIRPORTS

60 regional airports will receive a share of $41.2 million, in another step taken by the Federal Government to help Australia’s aviation industry get through the COVID-19 pandemic.

$1 MILLION FOR BLAND SHIRE PROJECTS TO FIGHT DROUGHT

Just over two weeks after Bland Shire Council was told it would receive nearly $2 million in extra infrastructure funding from the Federal Government, Member for Riverina and Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack has announced approval of another $1 million for drought-busting projects in the Shire through the Drought Communities Programme (DCP) Extension Round 2.

Farmers in Lockhart Shire will have improved water security for the current and future droughts when the reticulated water system is extended by 10.8 kilometres as part of the Liberal and Nationals Government’s $1 million Drought Communities Programme (DCP) support for the Shire.
