The well-known Christmas carol, ‘The Little Drummer Boy’, evokes many visuals and stirring images. A boy of little wealth, who has nothing to gift to the new-born King, Jesus Christ, at the first Christmas other than to play his drum which, as the carol says, brought great joy to the infant and his parents.
